In early 2005 Tricky Woo entered the studio to commit rock and roll’s "next step" to tape. First Blush is a 10 song maelstrom of thunderous riffs, jubilant melodies and earth shattering performances. Since the band’s inception in 1996, Tricky Woo have spread joyful hysteria with their trademark leader-of-the-pack pure rock excitement. Created to “save the children who have been misled”, First Blush (The Montreal group’s 5th album and first with Last Gang) simultaneously pulverizes and rebuilds rock’s parameters, laying the groundwork for a new generation of followers. Featuring the dual lead guitar acrobatics of lead vocalist Andrew Dickson and guitarist Adrian Popovich as well as the unstoppable rhythm section of drummer Patrick Sayers and bassist Alex Crowe, Tricky Woo have gloriously erected the Pantheon of Rock and invite you inside.
